2010 Vasaloppet

Kanabec Hospital was a proud sponsor of the 2010 Vasaloppet Ski Race located in Mora, MN. The Hospital has long participated in the events and activities of the festival, with members of the Kanabec Hospital team serving in volunteer roles as EMTs,    soup stop workers and in countless other ways.

While many members of the Hospital staff have skied in the race over the years, 2010 marked the first year that the Hospital officially sponsored a team in the race. All members of the Kanabec Hospital team opted to ski in the 13k division of the Vasaloppet events. Members racing included Cindy Teichroew, Colette Dickenson, Dawn Plested and Jake Ellingson.

The Vasaloppet is a fun and exciting event and a great asset to our community. The Hospital is honored and excited to participate in this important community event.
