Safe Sitter Course Graduates 72 Students
During the month of June, seventy-two students completed the Safe Sitter course offered by Kanabec Hospital instructors.
Instructors traveled to the locations in Pine City and Cambridge and Mora to provide classroom instruction for interested participants. Students from the communities of Pine City, Cambridge, Grasston, Rush City, Braham, Isanti, Stacy, Ogilvie, Brook Park, Stanchfield and Mora participated.
Safe Sitter is offered throughout the year to girls and boys aged 11-13 years. This course was created by Dr. Patricia Keener of Indianapolis, Indiana in 1980. Kanabec Hospital has been teaching this course for five years.
